Many communities are interested in taking steps toward becoming an efficient and sustainable smart city, but the overwhelming technology options on the market today may be holding them back. To make sense of the options, the city of Ruston, Louisiana, decided to use a web-based smart city assessment tool to identify the city’s needs and empower voices from a wide range of city stakeholders.
During this webinar, we walk through the city’s approach and showcase the results of the Ruston’s partnership with UtiliWorks Consulting, an E Source company. Surveys taken by participants across the city revealed which elements of a smart city Ruston should prioritize as well as key risks and gaps for the city to mitigate.
