Swiss Prime Site Startup Accelerators Awards Four Companies

The 8th Swiss Prime Site Startup Accelerator workshop recently awarded 4 companies who are focusing on the topics of smart cities, smart buildings, and mobility.

  • Data Ahead Analytics works on data integration, modelling, and visualization software for energy efficiency.
  • Enoki aims to help make cities more sustainable and pleasant by affecting change on the neighborhood level with its NeighborHub.
  • FenX – a spinoff from ETH Zurich – transforms mineral waste into insulation; and,
  • Nomoko is building a reference data set to act as a mirror between the physical and digital worlds.

“The workshop was very useful: we examined our solution using the JED real-estate project that will be completed in the next few years as a basis. The mentors’ feedback was of really high quality,” said Wolfram Willuhn, Data Ahead Analytics.

“The two days were very interesting. We saw where our company’s innovation stands and really appreciated talking to all the important players,” said Nomoko co-founder Vincent Pedrini.

The Swiss Prime Site Startup Accelerator Workshop is a partnership between VentureLab and the real estate company, Swiss Prime Site. The winners will work with Swiss Prime Site management and industry experts with the goal of setting up a pilot project or a proof-of-concept.

“Once again, the Swiss Prime Site Startup Accelerator Workshop on smart buildings, smart cities and mobility showed what exciting use-cases can be developed in just two days, when the dynamism and technology of the best startups are combined with Swiss Prime Site real-estate experts’ industry knowledge,” said Bastian Zarske Bueno, head of Corporate Ventures at Swiss Prime Site.
